Ayafa ‘Tiera’ Oyabi/CEO & Service Provider

Alaafia! My name is Iya Tiera Oyabi.  I am the Founder/Owner of LunaSol Beauty, a vegan-ish mobile spa and online boutique. I am a 4th-generation entrepreneur and ever since childhood, I’ve been immersed in the beauty industry. My mother was a licensed nail technician and makeup artist for as long as I can remember. I began my journey as a nail technician in 2005, during my senior year of high school. In 2007, I completed my professional training at Maryland Beauty Academy of Essex, receiving my license in Nail Technology. In 2013, I began the leg of my journey as a professional makeup artist mainly working the bridal beauty industry for about 5 years. 

In the summer of 2018, I decided to enroll in my first birth doula training in order to better satisfy my spiritual needs. My own journey with my health led me to undergo my training to become a yoni steam practitioner in 2019. 2019 was a year of new beginnings for me when it came to learning more about herbs and their medicinal properties. 

Just as birth is beautiful, so too is death's impending arrival. As a result of my own personal experiences with the death of clients and loved ones, I decided to become a certified Diaspora Death Doula. Something some of us inherently do naturally for others, however, I took my training in Spring of 2021.

Client safety and well-being is a top priority for me. My setup/immediate environment is sanitized and professional service is provided in the comfort of your own home, so you can look and feel your best. I strive to make sure the time my clients elect to spend with me a savory and tranquil moment in their day that is always worthwhile.
